Meet Graham
I’m a speech therapist by trade, comic artist and musician by hobby, and someone who loves turning real-world interests into real communication progress. I build creative, functional therapy plans around the things that make you you - because communication should feel like part of life, not an extra task.
I work with adult clients, with a special focus on supporting people with complex communication needs. That includes AAC users, stroke survivors, and anyone navigating big shifts in how they connect with the world. I build therapy around each client’s real-world interests, hobbies, and daily routines, because progress doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It happens in real life.
You might find me using Dungeons & Dragons to support communication and executive functioning, writing songs with clients, or sketching a comic to help a family better communicate with their loved one with aphasia. Whatever the modality, my goal is the same: to make therapy useful, creative, and empowering.
A bit about my background:
Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University
Presented at ASHA on integrating Dungeons & Dragons into therapy
Creator of Comics for Communication, a visual tool designed to help families and caregivers support loved ones with aphasia
Years of experience working with adults with communication disorders in clinics, homes, virtual sessions, and community-based settings
When I’m not in session, I’m sketching in a notebook, brainstorming new therapy ideas, or spending time with my family.
Let’s make communication work for you.
