Meet Graham

I’m Graham Henderson, M.S., CCC-SLP, a speech-language pathologist specializing in supporting adults through changes in memory, speech, and communication.

My goal is to make therapy meaningful and practical, so you can stay connected to what matters most to you - with more independence, confidence, and joy.

I work with adults across a range of needs, with a special focus on stroke survivors, people living with aphasia, individuals with Parkinson’s, and those using AAC (augmentative and alternative communication). My mission is to help people reconnect with what matters most - whether that’s enjoying a hobby, telling stories, or sharing daily routines with friends and family.

Progress happens in real life. That’s why I build creative, functional plans around each client’s interests and daily experiences. Sessions might include writing a grocery list, practicing conversations about favorite movies, or even exploring music, drawing, or games as tools for communication. Whatever the format, my goal is the same: to make therapy useful, engaging, and empowering.

A bit about my background:

  • M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University

  • Certified Speak Out!® Parkinson’s voice provider

  • Presented at the 2024 American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) conference on integrating Dungeons & Dragons and other role-playing games into therapy

  • Creator of Comics for Communication, a visual tool designed to help families and caregivers support loved ones with aphasia

  • Years of experience supporting adults with communication disorders in clinics, homes, virtual sessions, and community-based settings

When I’m not in session, you’ll find me sketching in a notebook, writing music, or spending time with my family.

Let’s make communication a bridge to the life you want - not a barrier.
