Communication for Connection
Groups & Workshops
Inclusive programs that foster communication, creativity, and connection - no matter how you speak.
These small-group programs are designed for adults navigating communication changes related to aphasia, memory loss, or cognitive-communication disorders.
Each group uses creative prompts, supported conversation strategies, and flexible pacing to encourage meaningful participation - whether someone uses speech, writing, gestures, or AAC. Sessions are inclusive, low-pressure, and tailored to meet a wide range of abilities and interests.
Everyone has something to say.
Real Support. Real Connection.
Led by a licensed speech-language pathologist
Each group is facilitated by Graham Henderson, M.S., CCC-SLP, who brings clinical expertise, creativity, and warmth to every session.
Designed for all communication styles
Whether participants speak, type, gesture, or use AAC, they’re supported and encouraged to express themselves in ways that feel natural.
A social space, not a clinical one.
These aren’t clinical therapy sessions. They’re social, expressive groups focused on connection, confidence, and joy.
Tailored support for every ability level
Whether someone needs light guidance or more structured communication support, each group is thoughtfully designed to meet participants where they are.
Creative, accessible formats
We use prompts like storytelling, music, art, and shared memories to invite meaningful conversation without pressure.
Flexible and low-pressure
Come every week or drop in when you can. Each session is designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and easy to join.
