Yes - I specialize in supporting clients with high communication needs, including AAC users and individuals with aphasia. I also work with clients who benefit from creative, interest-based therapy approaches. If you or your loved one needs something a little outside the box, we’re probably a great fit.

At this time, I am an out-of-network provider. I’m happy to provide superbills for reimbursement if your insurance plan includes out-of-network speech therapy. Feel free to reach out with any questions about this process.

AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication - tools or strategies that help someone communicate when speech is limited or unavailable. This can include everything from picture boards to high-tech speech-generating devices. I help clients learn and customize AAC systems that fit their unique needs and preferences.

Yes - aphasia is one of my primary areas of focus. I support individuals and families in building practical strategies for communication and connection, and often create visual tools (including comics!) to help explain what aphasia is and how to navigate it together.

Yes. All new clients begin with an evaluation to better understand strengths, challenges, and goals. Evaluations are collaborative and low-pressure - they’re about gathering insight, not passing a test. I’ll also talk with caregivers or communication partners when helpful.

Session frequency depends on your needs and goals. Some clients benefit from weekly sessions; others do better with a different rhythm. We’ll figure out a plan that works for you and adjust as we go.

Life happens! I just ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations when possible. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a fee unless it's due to illness or emergency. We’ll go over all the details before getting started.
